Flight Test </dt>
1. A test by means of actual or attempted flight to see how an aircraft, spacecraft, space-air vehicle, or missile flies. </dd>
2. A test of a component part of a flying vehicle, or of an object carried in such a vehicle, to determine its suitability or reliability in terms of its intended function by making it endure actual flight. </dd>
