Circular Dispersion


In rocketry, the diameter of a circle within which 75 percent of the events under study occur. CD = 3.330Missing Image:IMG src="c_files/sigmasm.gif" where Missing Image:IMG src="c_files/sigmasm.gif" = standard deviation.
Circular dispersion is most often used as a measure of error of the accuracy with which rockets reach their intended target.
